<p><b>WHAT&#8217;S THE JOB?</b><br />
 NOTE &#8211; Position is shift work at remote sites </p>
<ul>
<li>Understand all safety procedures of work place.</li>
<li>Installing/repairing water lines, using hand tools such as pex cutters, drills, and screwdrivers.</li>
<li>Using crimping tools for water lines.</li>
<li>Installation/repairing/replacing of fixtures and appliances once the rough in is completed, including showers, toilets, urinals, sinks, hot water tanks, kitchen equipment, washer/dryers, dishwashers, furnaces, and air conditioning units.</li>
<li>Use forklift, floor jack or dolly to move larger fixtures and appliances into buildings.</li>
<li>Daily usage of torches, crimpers, drills, hand tools (ie. Screw drivers, wrenches and hammers), pipe bender, manometer, threading machine, die heads, grinders, metal snips and shears.</li>
<li>Use of glues for sealing and installation of appliances (ie. ABS, PVC glue, pipe dope, flux and paint).</li>
<li>Work in accordance with the Gas Code and Plumbing Code.</li>
<li>Pull gas permits as required.</li>
<li>Load and unload materials, and move materials to work areas.</li>
<li>Maintain HNCC camp equipment to the highest possible condition.</li>
<li>Liaise with the Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner to keep up to all maintenance issues and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Responsible for “curb appeal” of our facility including highway signage.</li>
<li>Cleanliness and housekeeping of all areas inside and outside the camp.</li>
<li>Ensure all camp equipment is in good repair.</li>
<li>Cleans and stores tools and equipment and cleans work sites.</li>
<li>Effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines</li>
<li>Interacting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems on site.</li>
<li>Complying with all of HNCC safety policies &; procedures</li>
<li>Wears required Personal Protective Equipment at all times during work hours.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<p><b>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid drivers License.</li>
<li>Work requires an education background normally equivalent to high school and a Journeyman Certificate in Plumbing.</li>
<li>Work requires practical knowledge of the application of plumbing techniques and methods normally acquired through 5 years of plumbing experience.</li>
<li>Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.</li>
<li>Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.</li>
<li>Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Able to work individually and as a team member.</li>
<li>Able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Attention to health/safety of self and co-workers.</li>
