<p> We are currently seeking a IT Security Threat and Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation Analyst to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).</p>
<p> Must perform the following: </p>
<ul>
<li>Review, analyze and/or apply:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Networking Protocols such as HTTP, FTP, and Telnet</li>
<li>Secure IT architectures fundamentals, standards, communications and security protocols such as IPSec, IPv6, SSL, and SSH</li>
<li>IT Security protocols at all layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and Transmission Control</li>
<li>Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) stacks</li>
<li>Domain Name Services (DNS) and Network Time Protocols (NTP)</li>
<li>Network routers, multiplexers and switches</li>
<li>Application, host and/or Network hardening and security best practices such as shell scripting, service identification, and access control</li>
<li>Intrusion detection/prevention systems, malicious code defence, file integrity, Enterprise Security Management and/or firewalls;</li>
<li>Identify the technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of networks and cloud technologies</li>
<li>Manage the IT Security configuration;</li>
<li>Analyze IT Security tools and techniques;</li>
<li>Analyze the security data and provide advisories and reports;</li>
<li>Prepare technical reports such as IT Security Solutions option analysis and implementation plans in support of cloud email migration; and</li>
<li>Perform any other Work related to this category.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Mandatory Requirements:</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in the role of Information Technology Security Engineer.</li>
<li>Must have seven (7) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years analyzing security of IT systems for the federal government.</li>
<li>Must have experience delivering at least four (4) projects within the last ten (10) years where they analyzed IT system designs to identify technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of those systems and solutions to minimize the security risk.</li>
<li>Must have experience delivering at least four (4) projects within the last ten (10) years where they analyzed security related to networking or telecommunications.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Other Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Candidates located in the Ottawa region are preferred; remote work locations may also be considered.</li>
<li>Must have a valid Canadian Federal Government – Secret Clearance.</li>
</ul>
