Therafirm has an immediate opening in Hamlet, NC for an Inventory & Materials Administrative Assistant!

What You’ll Get To Do

The Inventory and Materials Admin is responsible for assisting in the control of Raw Materials inventory level to support production as well as indirect purchasing.

The Essentials

  • Assists Production Planning Coordinator in weekly evaluating finished inventory and creating work orders for stock.
  • Processes NCR’s through the work orders and inventory system in the Company’s ERP software.
  • Creates, distributes, tracks, reconciles, and files work orders.
  • Creates and releases repack, and rework work orders as needed.
  • Coordinates a daily cycle count schedule with the cycle counting teams in each department to ensure inventories are accounted for.
  • Assists with the monthly inventory clean up to ensure there are no errors to the inventory before monthly reports are run.
  • Assists Senior Inventory and Materials Coordinator with scheduling PO’s or Requisitions for raw materials. This includes maintaining system settings, reviewing, and revising delivery dates and monitoring of PO’s to ensure that assigned vendors receive and provide on-time delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Organizes and restocks indirect supplies such as office supplies and cleaning supplies. Work to standardize what is ordered.
  • Assists with set up item numbers and maintain routers and BOM’s.
  • Assists Planning and Inventory Control Manager with projects as is necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Associates degree or above in business or planning preferred.
  • 2 – 3 yrs experience, preferably in production planning and scheduling in an environment with multiple machines and product lines
  • Understanding of Lean principles preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficient in 10 key by touch
  • Strong communication skills, including experience interacting with many functional groups – customer service, production, shipping, quality, and outside vendors.
  • Strong work ethic, self-driven, and the ability to effectively manage own workload and properly identify priorities.
