Job Summary
The Technology Manager (Remote) will work with department heads within the corporate office to coordinate and enhance information services and technological related needs fostering better communication and relationships. The Technology Manager will be responsible for day-to-day development, interaction, administration, training, support and project management in relation to ESFM Applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between the corporate office departments and the Information Services Department to foster a relationship of open communication
- Act as an advocate for the corporate office using existing technological resources and solutions to improve the operational efficiencies and enhance the daily activities within the corporate office.
- Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides and functional specification documents. Select potential vendors to support needs.
- Design and execute test scripts and test scenarios.
- Provide application level user support, end-user documentation, training materials, and operational instructions that clearly and accurately reflect each system’s functionality
- Performs instructor led training for end users via in person, classroom or web based training
- Responsible throughout the project life cycle; help determine priorities while balancing business needs against other development projects
- ·Ability to analyze business needs and determine build vs. buy software solutions
- Record and document application issues that require fixes
- Manage 3rd party development team and SLA to ensure adequate application development, service, support, and uptime.
- Ability to prioritize independently, multiple requests and system requirements to meet the organizational goals.
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate. BA/BS degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in managing development teams
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and Visio.
- Knowledge of database architecture and management related to SQL and MongoDB
- Knowledge of web applications and servers hosted in a cloud environment
- Travel: Up to 15%
