Former Chelsea man and Milan’s star Christian Pulisic has been named the Serie A Player of the Month for December.
Pulisic beat top stars in the Italian league, to secure the fan-vote award, including the likes of former teammate Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Thuram.
The 25-year-old American winger has made an impact in his debut season in Italy after joining Milan from Chelsea last summer in a deal valued at around €20 million.
In the past six months, Pulisic has scored seven goals and providing six assists in 25 appearances across all competitions, a fit he hardly met during his last days in West London.
Despite some challenging matches for Milan in December, including a draw with Salernitana and a loss to Atalanta that widened the gap between them and league leaders Inter, Pulisic’s individual performances stood out.
Pulisic’s recognition as the Serie A Player of the Month for December was announced on Friday evening, with the American winger coming top in the online fan vote.
