Job description: Graphic Designer with skills in video editing and production is needed at a Sacramento area organization. This position reports to the Design & Websites Manager, will be responsible for creating visually engaging content for web, print, and digital platforms for our organization and its affiliates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our online presence, delivering creative designs, and producing compelling multimedia content. Responsibilities:
Graphic Desig n/Production:
- Develop creative concepts, layouts, and assets for web, print, and digital platforms.
- Create and execute design solutions, including imagery, publications, infographics, marketing collateral, and multimedia elements.
- Ensure excellence in graphic design and collaborate with internal staff to produce engaging visual content.
- Manage and prioritize projects independently, adhering to brand and production standards.
- Coordinate print orders and product/publication deliveries.
- Contribute to graphics and media development and maintenance.
- Provide project management support as needed.
Websites:
- Maintain and update websites for our organization and affiliates.
- Develop a working knowledge of the Higher Logic system.
- Create and manage graphic and video content for websites.
- Build web components, pages, and sections.
- Implement and manage analytics tools to enhance communication efforts.
Video/Multimedia:
- Develop, edit, and oversee video content for publication on various platforms.
- Record event components and individuals using camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Create concise, visually pleasing video content.
- Edit raw video to enhance viewer learning and engagement.
- Deliver video/audio files on social media platforms.
- Understand YouTube company account management and trends.
Miscellaneous:
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in design, publishing, or video editing.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or other graphic software.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
- Knowledge of database functionality preferred.
- Experience with website editing and HTML preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Positive, member-oriented team player.
- Independent worker with a willingness to take on a variety of projects.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and strong project management skills.
- Bachelor’ s degree (BA/BS) in graphics design, communications, or related fields.
Preferences:
- Experience with database functionality.
- Proficiency in website editing and HTML.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $52, 948 $79, 422
- Reimbursement for travel and business-related expenses.
