A Nigerian gold vendor has cried out for help after an employee allegedly stole all the gold and jewelry worth millions of naira from her shop and fled with it.
The incident was shared in a post that quickly went viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
In the video, the distressed woman can be heard shouting as she recounts the shocking theft that has left her devastated.
She explained that she hired a woman to work in her shop as part of her regular business process.
Unfortunately, this decision led to the loss of her entire stock, with the employee making off with all the gold and jewelry.
Desperate for assistance, the vendor is now asking the public to help locate the woman, whose photo has been shared along with the video.
In her emotional plea, she said: “Please help me. I don’t know what went wrong. I hired a staff just like everyone else. She took everything—my gold, my investments, everything I’ve worked for.”
“I don’t deserve this, I’ve been so good to her.”
As the post spread online, many concerned individuals flooded the comments section, expressing their thoughts and offering support.
