<p> Role: Finance Manager</p>
<p> Location: Stowmarket / Cambridge – (hybrid role past first 6 months)</p>
<p> Salary: £45,000 to £55,000</p>
<p> We are working with an innovative, international, and exciting company that is expanding very quickly and has a great working and people culture. They are looking for the right person to come and join their dynamic and hospitality-passionate team.</p>
<p> They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team and support them during their growth. Property, Retail or Hospitality experience is a plus.</p>

<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare the quarterly and annual statutory Group submissions.</li>
<li>Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, reconciling and ensuring balances are fully substantiated as well as reviewing.</li>
<li>Provide all management accounts for all group companies including commentary on performance, KPIs and budget/forecast variances. Directly responsible for the consolidated position.</li>
<li>Preparation of year-end balance sheet analysis for quarterly reporting.</li>
<li>Daily reporting and commentary on sales performance to directors and heads of Departments.</li>
<li>Preparation of annual statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors.</li>
<li>Assisting the Head of Finance with implementing/improving processes and controls.</li>
<li>Assisting in the formulation of the Company’s financial and business strategy in accordance with the medium- and long-term objectives determined by the Board.</li>
<li>Management and optimisation of the group tax position for corporate, payroll and VAT to mitigate tax risk.</li>
<li>Analysing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements.</li>
<li>Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems.</li>
<li>Dealing with HMRC inspections and audits (PAYE, VAT etc.)</li>
</ul>
<p><b>The ideal candidate</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Commercial mindset &; a knowledge of process improvement.</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of Budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of statutory accounts, corporate tax and liquidity management.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively in a business partnering role.</li>
<li>Commercial knowledge of the hospitality sector through previous work in contract catering, restaurant/bar groups, and property is a plus.</li>
<li>CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with the willingness to become qualified.</li>
