Job description: The Finance & Accounting Manager will be responsible assisting in job maintenance and month-end closing, developing costing standards, and developing KPI reports. The Manager is responsible for the providing regular reports, participating in budgeting, and inventory valuation exercises as needed.
The Finance & Accounting Manager will be a key support for the Plant Administration and Operational Stakeholders through financial reporting, budget process, and costing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Coordinate month-end closing to ensure proper cut-off and the performance of internal financial controls;
– Perform weekly and monthly variance analysis on raw material, overhead and labor variances to budgets;
– Prepare financial reports;
– Participate in the annual budget process;
– Assist with the financial close of a manufacturing facility;
– Manage internal controls and inventory requirements;
– Key finance partner for Administration and Operational Stakeholders;
– Analyze variances on cost and raw materials;
– Prepare financial and production statistics;
– Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
– University degree in accounting, CPA an asset;
– 3 years of experience in manager level, financial analysis or a similar position in industry;
– Management accounting experience in the manufacturing sector (asset);
– Availability to travel within the Leamington area;
– Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel;
– Excellent communication skills
– Good sense of organization and planning;
– Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This is a fully in- office position and candidates must be willing and able to work on site every day.
