We’re looking for a Director of Sales, Capital to lead our Sales team in NoAM. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a motivated \sales team ensuring the region exceeds it’s monthly revenue targets, customer acquisition goals, and other strategic KPIs. You will drive operational excellence through process optimisation, launching new strategic initiatives, and continuously elevating team performance, fostering a culture of growth and success.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses the ability to inspire, motivate, and coach large and dynamic sales teams. With great people leadership capability, they are able to manage a diverse set of stakeholders with a hands-on and proactive approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • People management: Sales coaching, Team and Individual Performance Management, Development of other people managers; Training & Development of the broader sales team
  • Lead Lightspeed’s Capital revenue acquisition efforts in the region; Ensure the region continually exceeds revenue and other key performance targets
  • Ensure optimisation of current revenue channels and development of new sales and customer acquisition channels
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring
  • Conduct regular reporting and analysis – we have a bias towards a data-driven sales approach, focused on throughput, processes and results, working closely with the Revenue Operations function
  • Manage projects and initiatives
  • Present feedback for the overall company product roadmap, be the voice of the customer
  • Create workflows that will be replicated across regions (dotted line to EMEA/APAC)

What you need to bring:

We’re looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Extensive experience in a relevant sales leadership role with a bias towards coaching and development to get the best out of people
  • Relevant work experience in an industry like retail, IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, or technology
  • Thorough experience in analyzing and reporting on metrics and data, and compiling reports
  • Experience in managing large high performing sales teams in a high velocity environment
  • Proven experience developing and executing on growth strategies
  • Ability to shift easily between high level strategic talks and basic operational tasks
