<p> Basic Description:</p>
<p> The Director of eCommerce Sales and Marketing serves as a strategic business partner within the Executive Team supporting all sales operations and also overseeing all aspects of eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations. The ideal candidate is a leader who is also a data-driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented evangelist capable guiding a diverse team towards measurable and impactful goals.</p>
<p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and lead a team of creative, driven, and highly performing individuals in the areas of Sales, eCommerce, and Public Relations.</li>
<li>Ensure the regular maintenance of the Company&#8217;s online and print marketing/advertising including: Amazon, Walmart, BestBuy, eBay marketplace product listings and the associated ad copy/content, SEO, PPC paid keyword advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing that drives traffic to those product listings.</li>
<li>Create and deploy sales &; marketing plans, informed by data, to support overall revenue-driving strategies that grow business.</li>
<li>Help to oversee the overall workload, task team members, and follow-up regularly to ensure assignments are well balanced and completed on-time.</li>
<li>Monitor the success and measure the results of the team&#8217;s efforts including: tracking sales and revenue, monitoring SKU sales performance, and ensuring online products and campaigns are highly searchable and converting.</li>
<li>Maintain written training materials and adapt new strategies into documentation to assist in current and future training.</li>
<li>Assist team members to work cross-departmentally among the Company&#8217;s creative teams including with: the Art Department, Product Development, Logistics, and Customer Solutions teams.</li>
<li>Drive weekly cross-functional team meetings to provide project updates alongside key sales &; marketing metrics.</li>
<li>Model Company values in all actions, communications, and decision making.</li>
<li>Provide regular one-on-one coaching and training of our proven methods and strategies for each team member.</li>
<li>Regularly communicate with the Executive Team to discuss strengths, opportunities, and emerging trends in business.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Education: BA in business, marketing, communications or related fields of study.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years professional experience managing a team.</li>
<li>Professional experience in online eCommerce consumer marketplace sales and paid keyword advertising (ie. Amazon, Walmart, NewEgg, BestBuy, eBay, etc).</li>
<li>Willing to develop into an eCommerce Guru, motivate team members to follow well defined Company strategy, and have the initiative to guide strategy all the way through the finish line.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others both internally and externally.</li>
<li>Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow-up, and meet competing deadlines.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Ability to work with all different players and functions; inspiring innovative and new ideas with peers, and holding others accountable.</li>
<li>Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves, often do the dirty work, and lead by example.</li>
<li>Experience with project management organization and collaboration tools.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Benefits</b></p>
<p> Pay range: $80,000 &#8211; $100,000 per year.</p>
<p> This is a full-time position that reports daily to our Westlake Village, CA headquarters.</p>
