Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager, Website is a high impact role on the digital marketing team. In this role, you will provide thought leadership to grow DQ.com’s marketing efforts. You will collaborate closely with creative, agency partners, and IT to create a branded online experience that is synergistic with DQ fans and franchises. You will take this user experience to the next level by understanding the needs and expectations of DQ’s digital fans.

Principle Accountabilities

Website Management:

  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards. R and work with cross- functional teams to ensure that relevant c
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the organization’s website.
  • Manage monthly/ weekly marketing content updates within the content management system.
  • Update HTML and CSS where needed on marketing content.
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Manage appropriate website content aligned to the organization’s strategy.
  • Guide conversations with agency partners and IT to ensure website is relevant and modern.
  • Improve the User Experience of the website regularly through KPI and monthly analytics.
  • Create strategies to grow instore traffic base and web traffic metrics.
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations (e.g. ADA).
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitor competitor websites.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot error fixing and minor updates.

Listing Pages (Including Ratings and Review Display):

  • Serve as a regular point of contact for agencies’ strategic and account questions regarding Local Listings (Digital Publishing Manager)
  • Provide thought leadership to increase engagement with local listing pages from Fan to franchises.
  • Regularly communicate to team and management on project development and results (Liaison between Brand Manager and DQ – social, ops & fan relations).
  • Conduct regular and thorough reviews, compiling weekly/monthly reports summarizing performance across agencies and channels for the marketing team.
  • Continually develop new ideas for testing, and oversee the execution of those tests, including but not limited to ratings and review scores within digital entities (ex. App, Web, and Email).

SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization and Marketing):

  • Provide copy direction and approval.
  • Provide input on the web spend based on analytics fed through content calendars.
  • Oversee Ad Copy recommendations/ A/B testing.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate technical feed issue fixes with development.
  • Develop, implement, manage and measure successful organic and paid acquisition campaigns across digital channels and media, including search and display.
  • Review and approve agency recommendations (meta descriptors, title recommendation, redirects).
  • Review and manage changes to the website(s) to ensure pages are optimized for search engines.
  • Recommend and execute strategies for content development in support of SEO goals.
  • Coordinate off-page SEO activities such as blogger outreach programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate paid and organic search results and performance across the major search channels.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, required.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional project management skills, required.
  • Previous experience working with a franchisee system, restaurant or retail concept is a plus.
  • Experience fostering effective partnerships with agency and/or vendor partners.
  • 1-2 years of experience implementing and analyzing SEO and PPC initiatives
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and analytics tools such as MOZ, SEMrush, Google Adwords &/or other paid search bidding platforms; Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools), Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Experience executing and managing SEO programs at local and national levels
  • Experience with technical SEO analysis, site analysis, and reporting
  • Experience administering content in CMS environments & a functional understanding of back-end elements such as HTML, CSS, robots.txt, metadata, etc.
  • Experience in managing/updating local business listings
  • Exceptional organizational, collaboration and communication skills to work closely with and build relationships with internal Marketing, Creative, eCommerce & IT teams as well as external agencies
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects and resources without losing focus

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs. Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
