<p><b>Job description</b>: Are you looking for work as a Accident Benefit Administrator? Our clients, an reputable insurance company is looking to find the perfect candidate to fill a fully remote opportunity assisting with processing Accident Benefit claims.</p>
<p> THIS ROLE IS 100% REMOTE HOWEVER CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN ONTARIO!</p>
<p> The incumbent will be responsible for processing accident benefit claims:</p>
<p> &#8211; Cursory telephone contacts to all parties involved.<br />
 &#8211; Ongoing processing and assessing new claims, detailed and thorough investigation, needs analysis, and delivery of superior customer service<br />
 &#8211; Demonstrates good analytical skills in determining the course of investigation a claim should take. (i.e. When to set up a collection company or legal assignment.<br />
 &#8211; Determine recovery prospects via multiple sources<br />
 &#8211; Create recovery claims packages<br />
 &#8211; Timely management of activities<br />
 &#8211; Ensure adequate claims reserving practices/processing payment<br />
 &#8211; Identify responsible parties in the process and place on notice<br />
 &#8211; Proactive diary with and regular follow up calls with members and third party personnel.<br />
 &#8211; File reporting as per company procedures<br />
 &#8211; Ensure immediate and effective responses are provided through written/telephone communication to the following; (lawyers, clients, third parties)<br />
 &#8211; Assist with workload for others as applicable (vacation times/buddy system/illnesses)<br />
 &#8211; Share ideas and handling procedures with team and management</p>
<p> &#8211; AB claims handling experience an asset<br />
 &#8211; Excellent telephone experience<br />
 &#8211; Call volume experience<br />
 &#8211; Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills<br />
 &#8211; Exceptional communication skills both written and oral<br />
 &#8211; Strong organizational and time management skills coupled with strong decision-making skills<br />
 &#8211; Post- secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation would be preferred<br />
 &#8211; Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel</p>
