Eating Disorders<br &sol;>&NewLine;<br &sol;><b>Company&colon;<&sol;b> British Medical Journal<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Job description<&sol;b>&colon; An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new full-time post in Adult Eating Disorders Psychiatry to work alongside the Eating Disorders Services teams based at Cardiff Royal Infirmary&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> This is a new post following a successful bid to Welsh Government Improvement and the appointee will join the wider Adult Mental Health Directorate within the UHB&&num;8217&semi;s Mental Health Clinical Board&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Although this post is full-time&comma; consideration will be given to applicants who require flexible working arrangements&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Applicants should either be on the Specialist Register or be a Specialist Registrar within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT &sol; CESR&lpar;CP&rpar; at the time of interview&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> You will be able to take advantage of the excellent Consultant contract for Wales&period; The basic salary range for this post is £91&comma;722 per annum to £119&comma;079 per annum plus a further £26&comma;672 per annum available in Commitment Awards&period; Consultants in Wales paid on one of the first three points of the substantive Consultant pay scale also receive a Wales recruitment incentive payment&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Applicants must ensure they provide names and contact details of referees covering at least the last 3 years of their employment&sol;training history in full&period; In addition&comma; applicants who are currently or have most recently been employed as a substantive Consultant or as a Locum Consultant in post for more than 12 months must also provide the name of their Medical Director as an additional referee&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Main duties of the job<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Clinical duties will include&colon;-<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> RC responsibility for all patients under the care of Eating Disorders Services&period; Assessment and treatment of individuals with an eating disorder and comorbid psychiatric and physical health problems&period; Psychiatric reviews&period; Liaison with local treatment services and partners&period; Attending team meetings&period; Clinical supervision of junior doctors&comma; clinical staff and medical students&period; Clinical audit&period; Formulation of complex cases with medical and psychiatric needs&period;
