Our Trades & Labour Division have secured a number of key Infrastructure contracts in Cumbria, and we are currently recruiting several Concrete Finishers for long term work.
To be considered for this position you must have hold a valid CSCS blue skilled card, have previous experience and be able to provide references.
Responsibilities:
- Use various tools, such as trowels, floats & power floats to smooth and level concrete.
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and the ability to work with different types of concrete.
- Pay attention to detail to ensure the quality of finished concrete surfaces.
- Install control joints and expansion joints to prevent cracking of concrete.
- Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces.
- Operate equipment such as Stihl saws, grinders, and concrete vibrator/poker.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ level 2 in Specialist Concrete Occupations
- Valid CSCS card (Gold/Blue)
- Previous experience on similar contracts.
- Hard working
- Reliable
- Detail Orientated
- Safety Conscious
Rates & Hours: Concrete Finisher
- £17.75 per hour (CIS)
- £15.75 per hour (PAYE) – (You will accrue holiday pay at 12.07% additional to your rate.)
Mon – Friday – 7am – 5pm = 47.5 hours paid – Overtime available!
