<p> Sodexo is a seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager II-HC to join their clinical nutrition team at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC part of the ECU health systems. This modern, 114-bed hospital in Ahoskie provides a full spectrum of health services to nearly 40,000 people across four counties. This account is a quick 2 hour getaway to the Outer Banks of NC! ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital offers a number of specialty services including behavioral health, cancer care, pain management, and sleep services. .</p>

<p><b>The successful candidate will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>manage the clinical nutrition program within the hospital</li>
<li>supervise two dietitians;</li>
<li>have 13 months of management experience;</li>
<li>advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility;</li>
<li>collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system;</li>
<li>foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development;</li>
<li>proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that is integral to moving efforts of the department forward;</li>
<li>drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;</li>
<li>provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with physicians, nursing, occupational and speech therapists, and other ancillary staff.</li>
<li>provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>works weekends and holidays as required</li>
</ul>
<p> serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed.</p>
<p> strong time management and organizational skills are required to be successful in this position. * must be a team player and flexible</p>

<ul>
<li>be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base;</li>
<li>have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; and/or</li>
<li>have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.</li>

<p> Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor&#8217;s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)</p>

<p> Basic Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.</p>
<p> Basic Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners</p>
<p> Credentials Requirement: </p>
<ul>
<li>Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)</li>
<li>Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice</li>
</ul>
