The Headlines:

In the role of Category Insights Manager – Retail Canada West., you will be part of the Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team. You will lead the regional category insights & execution team to develop critical insights and solutions for their assigned chain account(s) to grow the size and the value of the customer’s beer category, while capturing a disproportionate share of growth.

This position reports to the Sr. Customer Solutions Manager and is based out of Toronto.

The Responsibilities:

  • Build effective collaborative relationships key stakeholders internally and externally to maximize existing and new opportunities through category & shopper data-led insights.
  • Create the framework and provide thought leadership for turning consumer/shopper and category insights into integrated selling story, category, and business reviews.
  • Sets the Joint Business Team strategy with our customers aligning Molson resources against Customer needs in a way that drives mutual growth.
  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of 5 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.
  • This position requires a high degree of customer facing interaction – both internally with multiple levels of the organization, particularly chain leadership, and externally with both key account leadership.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
  • You have 5+ years of progressive experience across category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales. (CPG industry is a bonus).
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
  • Experience is team management is an asset.
  • You have a proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software
  • You have strong written and verbal selling skills.
