<ul>
<li>Safely and efficiently transport items to their intended destinations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of packages</li>
<li>Plan the most efficient route for deliveries, considering factors like traffic, weather, and time constraints to minimize delivery times and costs.</li>
<li>Handle packages with care, ensuring that fragile or sensitive items are not damaged during transit.</li>
<li>Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers during deliveries.</li>
<li>Maintain records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, and report any incidents or issues to the appropriate channels.</li>
<li>Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the road.</li>
<li>Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.</li>
<li>Stay in contact with dispatch or management to provide updates on the status of deliveries and receive instructions for new tasks.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Job Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.</li>
<li>Physical fitness and endurance, especially for roles that involve manual handling of packages.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.</li>
<li>Adherence to safety and security procedures.</li>
<li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.</li>
