Description and Requirements

As the Canada Marketing Manager, you are a key player in driving marketing initiatives for B2B and B2C audiences in the Canada market. You will collaborate with our Canada Sales organization and North America marketing teams to localize and execute programs, campaigns, and events, contributing to the market’s business objectives and goals.

This a new position within the North America marketing organization that requires strong cross-functional collaboration and excellent project management. You will interface with internal teams and external organizations such as agencies, partners, and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Canada sales team to understand and support country priorities and goals
  • Partner with the NA marketing team to support marketing priorities and goals
  • Define the end-to-end Canada marketing plan and document annual and quarterly marketing briefs
  • Help to build the annual marketing budget, manage the quarterly budget and own associated operational activities
  • Establish benchmarks and KPIs by program, analyze results, and present outcomes to Lenovo leadership teams
  • Collaborate with the Events and Communications teams to execute key events.
  • Partner with the NA Brand and Digital Marketing teams on the planning and execution of campaigns to ensure the right audiences are reached, the message is heard and understood, and the market goals are met.
  • Work closely with the Lead Development team to ensure alignment on strategy, definitions, targets, reporting views, and results. And partner with the Canada Sales team to identify how to accelerate lead closure.
  • Collaborate with the NA Consumer Marketing team localize retail programs for key retailers.
  • Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices, and techniques.
  • Cultivate and share market insights with relevant marketing teams at a NA and WW level.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of combined B2B and B2C Marketing experience for an IT and/or technology or related company; relevant experience working with, supporting, marketing to, or communicating with, customers in the Canada market.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively.
  • Experience building integrated go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience executing key go-to-market field tactics such as customer events, sales enablement creation, channel co-marketing programs, promotions, etc.
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Previous budget management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with both internal and external customers and partners.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Fluent in English and French

HYBRID – This position will include work from our Markham campus as well as work from home each week
