Job description: The Opportunity:

As part of the Centre of Excellence team (COE), the Business Analyst supports the COE team in delivering value added projects by developing and implementing Robotics Process Automation (RPA) workflows in individual business areas. The business analyst is primarily responsible for the management of RPA projects for the team. This includes working with the subject matter expert to define the as-is process, identify the optimal to-be process within the RPA framework, and provide guidance to the RPA developers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the customer relationship between the COE and specific business areas, acting as a bridge between the technical teams and the business SME
  • Identify, analyze, and quantify RPA opportunities
  • Work with the business teams to document detailed AS IS / TO BE processes
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation to be used by the RPA development team
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily work assignments for the RPA Developers
  • Troubleshoot and repair production issues for existing processes
  • Quantify and report RPA Benefits
  • RPA development as required

  • Shift schedule: 5×2 – Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Process Owner
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Business Technology Management or Operations Management, or related areas would be an asset
  • Basic understanding of RPA software (UiPath) capabilities used for automation
  • Understanding of IT as well as Operations, resulting in the ability to bridge the gap between SME and RPA Developers
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
  • General proficiency with SQL and database query tools such as Microsoft Access and/or SQL+
