A British-Nigerian nursing student and popular TikTok content creator, Tamilore Odunsi, has been tragically murdered in her Houston apartment, just two weeks before she was set to graduate with a nursing degree.
Tamilore, 23, known online as “Tami Dollars,” was found dead on her kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds after police forced entry into her residence during a welfare check.
According to The Sun, officers were alerted after blood was spotted on the patio of her apartment. Inside, they discovered a horrific crime scene and also found a man, reportedly someone Tami had only recently met, suffering from stab wounds in a separate room. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Tami had moved from London to the United States in 2022 to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. She had been joyfully counting down to her graduation, even sharing a hopeful video on TikTok just three days before her death with the caption: “I’m readdyyyyy… BSN grad in 2 weeks. Summer is 14 days away.”
Her brutal killing has devastated her family, friends, and more than 30,000 TikTok followers. A GoFundMe campaign launched to help repatriate her body to the UK and cover funeral expenses has already raised over £29,000.
“Tami was a beautiful soul—full of light, ambition, and kindness. She was tragically murdered just days before she was set to graduate. An unimaginable loss,” her sister Georgina wrote on the fundraising page.
Her brother Manny also paid tribute, saying: “Our TikTok star. My creative director. My baby sister. Flying to America without her greeting us at the airport is a pain beyond words.”
Police have not yet released further details about the man found in the apartment or the motive behind the attack.
