POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Implementation provides leadership and direction for National implementation teams .This role focuses on the successful implementation of new payroll, human resource or Time and Labour Management (TLM) clients as well as the conversion of existing clients. This position is responsible for directing the process and monitoring metrics for successful implementation as defined by ADP’s Quality Implementation standards, productivity and performance measurements and budget goals. This director works collaboratively with other functional units and removes roadblocks to successfully implement and maintain quality for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership, direction and support to the implementation team to ensure we are meeting key performance indicators for Starts, Client Satisfaction, No Starts and time to start.
  • Be an agent of change. Continually evaluate and enhance processes and tools across the team. Drive innovative changes resulting in sustained performance improvements and client experience.
  • Foster and enhance relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide operational leadership for the Implementation team, including day to day business direction to regional offices.
  • Report to the business on the performance of the Implementation team against key performance indicators, including the development and execution of specific action plans for improvement.
  • Analyze the client’s Payroll and/or Human Resource requirements and recommend sustainable solutions that will meet their needs and provide the client with the value required to offset or exceed their investment.
  • Interpret and analyze information at a client level, distill the information and present the information or recommended solution in a format meaningful to the Senior Executive level.

COMPETENCIES

Education

  • University Graduate or Professional Certificate with related experience

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

Required

  • Prior experience in on boarding clients into Software as a Service environment, preferably in a payroll or HR Service environment. Minimum 10 years in a management/leadership position.
  • Experience in leading a team to consistently deliver results in a high volume and dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective, constructive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Advanced technical knowledge related to Payroll, Human Resources and TLM market areas.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Payroll and Human Resources industries.
  • Advanced understanding of the impact and implications of political, social, economic, technological and competitive trends on client organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of implementation processes, procedures and project management methodologies
  • Competent knowledge of ADP products and mainframe.
  • Must have extensive experience leading large, diverse teams within a B2B environment.
  • Proven leadership of transformational change, delivering measurable results.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead quality-focused initiatives and drive organizational excellence (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and instill a results-oriented culture through process re-engineering.
  • Proven track record in team building and leadership, experience integrating different functional groups to work together.
  • Experience leading a virtual team and/or global staffing experience is required.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/French) is a must
