<p> <b>Job Brief</b> </p>

<li>We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success.</li>
<li>As an Accountant at Batoil Services, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to guide decision-making.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Invoicing: Handle invoice processing, purchase orders, payments to suppliers/contractors, and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.</li>
<li>Financial Records: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.</li>
<li>Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li>
<li>Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.</li>
<li>Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processes such as salaries, benefits &; compensation packages, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations</li>
<li>Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.</li>
<li>Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during financial and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and information.</li>
<li>Month-End and Year-End Close: Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.</li>
<li>Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Qualifications and Requirements</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>2 – 3 years of proven experience in accounting and financial management.</li>
<li>Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or CITN is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE, QuickBooks,) and Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, accounting standards and Knowledge of Taxation Laws</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Salary</b><br />
 <br /> N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly (Gross) depending on experience.</p>
