Barcelona are reportedly considering a potential reunion with Neymar Junior, but the Brazilian has been set a challenge before any move can materialize.

According to Sport, the Blaugrana have told Neymar he must score 15 goals with Santos before they would consider re-signing him.

The 33-year-old forward has netted three goals and provided three assists in seven appearances since rejoining Santos, but his contract expires this summer, making him a potential free transfer target.

Neymar’s agent, Andre Cury, who has strong ties to Barcelona, stated on RAC1 that the player would be eager to return.

“You know he should never have left, and if there is a chance, he would be delighted to return. If the club decides to go after him, his return is feasible.”

Barcelona have been searching for a left winger, previously pursuing Nico Williams, while also being linked with Rafael Leão and Luis Díaz.

However, financial constraints could make Neymar an attractive option.

The forward has struggled with injuries in recent years, missing much of 2023 and 2024 due to a cruciate ligament injury.

With Barcelona’s salary cap concerns, his fitness and form at Santos will likely determine whether the club makes a move for him this summer.
