The candidate should be a young CA /MBA (or seasoned semi qualified Accountant) with strong conceptual, financial analytical skills. He should be highly organized, methodical, hardworking and ability to work under stress
Qualification: CA/MBA (1-2 Years’ Experience) or Semi Qualified CA (+5 years’ experience)
Preferred Background: Manufacturing
Job Profile:
- Responsible for operational accounts matters including accounting for receipts, payments, sales, journal vouchers etc.
- Responsible for inventory control, physical verification of stocks, control & management of warehouses
- Responsible for Banking operational matters like fund transfers, opening Form MS, follow up with Banks for Letter of Credits, review bank charges
- Job Costing for manufacturing batches
- Preparation & Presentation of management reports for stock, debtors, payable, fixed asset, schedules for various balance sheet items
- Assist in preparation of Yearly / Monthly Forecasts for Profitability, Cash Flow
- Assist in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) in fullest detail, analysis of variance of actuals vs. forecast. Monthly closure of accounts
- Assist in preparation of costing of various products and advise management on profitability of various products
- Liasioning with Statutory auditors for preparation & finalization of Yearly Audited Accounts
- Responsible for Credit Control for Sales and Debtors
- Responsible for review and disbursement of Local Staff Salaries
- Periodic Physical verification of stocks, identify differences with book stock and highlight to management for decisions
- Processing of Staff Salary
Required Skills:
- Strong accounting skills and well adept in products costing
- In depth understanding of book keeping, cash flow management
- Very Good Communication Skills
- Very Good Financial Analytical skills.
- Should be process oriented and be able to suggest improvements in the current processes
- Proven track record of value addition in previous jobs.
- Strong IT Skills (MS Excel, Power Point, MS Word etc.) & Hands on experience of working in ERP Environment
- Experience of SAP ERP
- Ability to accept and overcome challenges. Should be ready to work hard under stress
- Should be a team player
