<p> POSTION SUMMARY &; KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY</p>
<p> We’re seeking a passionate, agile and persuasive sales professional with experiences creating highly complex software, hardware, and consulting solutions for large &; strategic retailers in Canada and forming tight customer partnerships across multiple offices of the C-Suite.</p>
<p> As an Account Executive in our Retail Sales Organization, you will be responsible for selling total enterprise and platform-based solutions that provide high value to our customers in the grocery, convenience, fuel, drug store, discount, and department and specialty verticals. You will manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Lead a team in the development, presentation, and sales propositions. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Position is a quota-carrying role with responsibility for working with Retail customers and prospects for NCR software, services and hardware.</p>
<p><b>Key Areas of Responsibility include:</b></p>
<p> Identify and qualify top retail prospects for NCR solutions within an existing and prospect territory: including software, services, and hardware with a focus on aaS and Subscription offerings.</p>
<p> Develop customer specific value propositions, business cases, and ROI</p>
<p> Communicate effectively and drive cross-functional teams to ensure customer success</p>
<p> Achieve assigned objectives for orders and revenue through solution expansion and organic growth</p>
<p> Develop and manage account plans with measurable time bound goals and objectives</p>
<p> Develop a strategic roadmap in partnership with technical presales resources to align customer needs, issues and opportunities with industry best practices and NCR’s current and future offerings</p>
<p> Understand the customer’s business objectives and ensure NCR is viewed as a strategic partner to help meet these goals</p>
<p> Create and own executive relationships across marketing, operations, vendor management &; IT to ensure the full breadth of NCR’s portfolio is leveraged to solve business issues and drive customer ROI</p>
<p> Manage the sales process by identifying opportunities, managing the funnel &; forecast, handling contract negotiations and driving the deployment of solutions</p>
<p> Coordinate engagements and leverage all NCR resources into customer or prospect base</p>
<p> Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction during pre-sales and post-sales engagements</p>
<p><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>
<p> Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline</p>
<p> 5 years + of related business and sales experience along with a proven track record of client management in the retail vertical market especially with top tier clients in the grocery, convenience, fuel, drug store, discount, and department and specialty verticals.</p>
<p> Background in SaaS, subscription offerings and application software</p>
<p> Demonstrated history of managing the sales process and developing strategic roadmaps which align customer needs, issues and opportunities with industry best practices and solution offerings</p>
<p> Agility to thrive in a fast-changing environment, with proven ability to understand and overcome sales barriers to close business</p>
<p> Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with cross functional teams that can impact your customer including engineering, development, finance, legal and professional services organizations</p>
<p> Significant business acumen and comfort with C-level</p>
<p> Ability to forge and leverage exceptional internal and customer partnerships</p>
<p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>
<p> Prior experience selling or working with POS, and customer transaction technologies in Tier One Retail</p>
<p> Proven success selling aaS solutions</p>
<p> Strong Executive Presence</p>
