<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">A Nigerian woman, Evelyn Isaac, has publicly accused her husband, Isaac Mefo, of<a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/domestic-violence"><strong> domestic violence</strong></a>, stating that she can no longer tolerate the abuse.</p>
<p>In a Facebook post on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Uyo-based <strong>mother of two</strong> alleged that her husband physically assaulted her.</p>
<p><em>“God will punish you Isaac Mefo for beating me this afternoon. Have tolerated enough,”</em> she wrote.</p>

<p>The revelation has come as a shock to many, as the couple celebrated their seventh <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/wedding-anniversary"><strong>wedding anniversary</strong></a> just two months ago, in December 2024. In a heartfelt anniversary message at the time, Evelyn had expressed prayers for continued love and happiness in their home.</p>
<p><em>“Congratulations n happy wedding anniversary to me n mine. Wishing us more love n sweetness in our home. Happy 7years wedding anniversary to us my darling husband. It can only be God,</em>” she wrote.</p>
