<p><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=super+eagles"><strong>Super Eagles</strong></a> midfielder <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/wilfred-ndidi"><strong>Wilfred Ndidi</strong></a> has resolved to stay at <strong>Leicester City</strong>, despite interest from French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco.</p>
<p>Monaco, currently third in Ligue 1 and eyeing a potential Champions League spot next season, considered securing the 28-year-old on loan with an option to buy.</p>
<p>However, Ndidi, who has been a key figure for the Foxes, is determined to help Leicester avoid relegation from the Premier League.</p>
<p>Leicester City sit seventeenth in the table, just one point above the drop zone, with 15 matches left.</p>

<p>Despite the challenging situation, Ndidi’s commitment remains firm, as no personal terms were even discussed with the French side, confirms All Nigeria Soccer.</p>
<p>The Nigerian international, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since a 2-2 draw against Brighton, is nearing full fitness and is expected to return soon to the dugout.</p>
<p>Ndidi’s loyalty to Leicester was also evident last summer when he rejected offers from Premier League and La Liga clubs to sign a contract extension until June 2027.</p>
<p>Since joining the Foxes, he has made 289 appearances in all competitions, scoring 18 goals.</p>
