<p>A young Nigerian vendor has lost the chance to receive N500,000 after singer <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Zlatan-Ibile"><strong>Zlatan Ibile</strong></a> discovered an old tweet where she mocked him during his early career struggles.</p>
<p>The incident unfolded after Zlatan announced a <strong>giveaway</strong> on his X platform, pledging N500K each to support small business owners who consistently advertise their work online.</p>
<p>In his post, Zlatan wrote:<br /><em>“This is for the dedication and hustle—if you’ve always shared or advertised your work or products on your timeline, this one’s for you. What does your small business need to thrive? How can I support you? I go check your timeline before I drop sha.”</em></p>
<p><strong>The vendor</strong> caught the singer’s attention and was selected as a beneficiary. However, before sending the money, Zlatan reviewed her past tweets and discovered a post from 2020 where she had ridiculed him.</p>

<p>The old tweet was a response to Zlatan’s post where he called out an influencer he had an issue with in 2018.</p>
<p>The vendor had replied, <em>“This one dey find who go drag am make him trend. We won’t drag you ooo, carry your noise enter Aso Rock. It’s not appreciated here.”</em></p>
<p>Upon seeing the tweet, Zlatan reconsidered his decision and humorously shared his dilemma online, writing:<br /><em>“As I wan give I dey check wetin dem don tweet about me before, join. This one don enter me for 2020 and I don promise 500k. How we wan do am like this? &#x1f602;”</em></p>
