A US-based Nigerian lady recounts how she handled an entitled lady in Nigeria who she tried to send a cash gift of $90.

A social media user, @Aynana24 took to the X platform to share a relatable yet shocking experience that has since gone viral.

According to her post, she assisted a friend by delivering money to someone in need, only to encounter unexpected hostility.

The chain of events began when Aynana helped a friend by using her own app to transfer $90 to the friend’s acquaintance in Lagos. However, upon contacting the recipient for account details, she was met with an ungrateful and entitled response.

The recipient questioned, “Is that all she gave you?” in what Aynana described as “the most stinky attitude.”

How I dealt with a Nigerian lady who felt too big to accept $90

“I had to drop off a friend at work becos her car was at the shop for maintenance. As soon as I pulled up at her job, she gave me $90 to help her use my app to send money to her friend in Lasgidi becos the friend needed some financial assistance.

She could not log in to her own app, and she was already running late, so she gave me the friend’s number to contact her for her account details to enable me to transfer the money directly via the app.

I contacted that one, and told her who sent me and how much I was told to send to her

The friend: Ehn is me, is that all she gave you? (she said it with the most stinky attitude)

Me: Err sorry, does she owe you or helping you with financial assistance?

I immediately told her not to worry and ended the conversation.

I texted my friend to call me during her lunch break. She did, and I told her what transpired between me and her friend, and she was shocked and told me to transfer the money to her brother.

She blocked her friend, and that one has been calling and texting me on WhatsApp.

I started to type… witch don’t call or text me, but I deleted the text and blocked her too! Very dirty behavior.”
