<p>Many are rejoicing with Unilag’s best graduating student, Akanmu David Oluwatomiwa, who finished with a perfect CGPA of 5.0 from department of <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/civil-engineering" rel="noopener"><strong>Civil Engineering</strong></a>.</p>
<p>This is no small feat as he has maintained this perfect CGPA for the entire 5 years of his stay in the school.</p>
<p>The student received over 15 awards and certificates to his name due to his outstanding performance.</p>

<p>He believes that <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=excellence" rel="noopener"><strong>excellence</strong></a> isn’t just a result of hard work but perseverance, guidance and strategy all have a role to play.</p>
<p>The <strong>first class student</strong> also stated that many students have lost interest in education because they don’t believe in its value anymore.</p>
<p>He authored a book where he wrote his journey navigating the university and a roadmap for others on the same journey.</p>

<p>He is the first student from his department and the overall fourth in Unilag to graduate with a perfect 5.0 CGPA.</p>
