<p> Your role: Are you a talented writer/interviewer and passionate about TV? Do you know your Beales from your Barlows? Are you up to date with the biggest TV and streaming series? The team behind the country&#8217;s top telly guide, TV Mag, and newspaper supplement TV Soap is looking for a writer to join us, starting in January 2024.</p>
<p><b>Day to day you will:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Interview a huge range of TV talent</li>
</ul>
<p> Write engaging and original features</p>
<p> Direct our readers to the best TV of the week with humorous and knowledgeable previews</p>
<p> Contribute to our vital soap pages in TV Mag and TV Soap</p>
<p> Check schedules from TV channels and staying in touch with PRs to find out when all the big shows start</p>
<p> Attend launches, screenings and visits to the sets of TV shows in production, during working hours and evenings/weekends when required</p>
<p> Come up with fresh ideas to ensure we stay ahead of our rivals</p>
<p> Mindful of IPSO and legal requirements while working speedily and accurately to deadline</p>
<p> What we&#8217;re looking for from you: </p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience on a national consumer magazine or supplement. Experience on a TV magazine and knowledge of listings is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<p> Accurate, fast writing and basic editing skills</p>
<p> Passion for TV and soaps</p>
<p> The ability to work in our London office when needed</p>
<p> A willingness to embrace on-going digital challenges</p>
