Positions available:
Tree Planting Crew Boss – $250/day – $300+/day (negotiated based on experience)
- Crew Bosses are responsible for managing crews of 10-12 tree planters. Responsibilities include safety and quality assurance, block setup, managing the job site, and meeting daily production targets. Crew Bosses are also paid for any trees planted.
Tree Care – $225/day (rate negotiated based on experience)
- Tree Care is responsible for assisting the Crew Boss in all aspects of day-to-day operations. Duties may include setting up caches, running and maintaining equipment (skidder, pumps, vehicles), watering trees, tree deliveries, managing inventory of both full and empty tree trays, etc.
Locations:
We are looking for local crews based out of Northern, Central, and Southern New Brunswick with daily pick-up locations in Grand Falls, Fredericton, and Saint John
We are also looking for mobile crews that will be based out of our camps in Sussex, Chipman, Deersdale, and Black Brook
Qualifications:
- Must having planting experience.
- Class 4 license with clean driver’s abstract
- Preference given to applicants with Forestry education
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks
