<p>A <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/transwoman">transwoman</a> </strong>in the United States has lamented after receiving an email showing that her <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/?s=gender">gender</a> </strong>has been changed from female to male.</p>
<p>The transwoman who was born a man but changed his gender to a woman shared a video complaining about how his gender has been reversed in his passport.</p>

<p>This new change occurred after the current president, <strong>Donald Trump signed a policy</strong> canceling cross-dressing, transgenders while emphasizing that a man will be referred to as a male and a woman a female.</p>
<p>In the video shared by the transwoman, named Perysian Zaya Mekhi, it showed that his passport bio page, showing her photo dressed as a woman was changed to “M”.</p>
<p>She said:<em> “In case you’re wondering what it’s like being transgender under this new administration, I just got my new passport in the mail and they changed the gender to male because of Donald Trump.”</em></p>
<p>She added that all of her other documents identify her as female and she has been fully surgically altered to become female.</p>

<p>They wrote to her:<em> “The sex was corrected on your passport application. The changes were made for one of the following reasons: to match our record.” </em></p>
<p>Zaya stated that the only record that ever identified her as male was a passport she had when she was much younger.</p>
<p><em>“So, basically it doesn’t matter that all of my other documents say female and that I’ve had my s£x change surgery, if you’ve had a passport in the past that displays the opposite s£x, then they will not honor your gender change,”</em> she explained.</p>
<p><em>“I will be seeking legal action,”</em> she added.</p>
<p>She continued: <em>“Because, look, I’m an adult and I’ve undergone my full medical transition. There is nothing about me anymore that represents male on the exterior whatsoever.” </em></p>
