JOBS OF THE DAY!
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Whitmore Lake, Mi
Shift: 1st shift, 7am-5pm
Pay: $25-$28/hr. DOE
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Tracking and updating the Machine Maintenance & Inspections Log.
- Identify machine issues and report same to Plant Manager.
- Repair Machines as required.
- Co-ordinate/perform installation of equipment including, wiring, leveling, and plumbing.
- Coordinate outside services with Manufacturers for Warranty Repairs.
- Coordinate outside services for more extensive or non-warranty machine repairs.
- Work with outside vendors on facility issues, plumbing, heating & cooling, etc.
Perform maintenance on:
- AC Units/Furnace.
- Electrical (plugs, lighting, etc.).
- Golf Carts.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Pass Basic Math Test.
- Strong Mechanical skills.
- Good Electrical skills.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Tool room and spare parts organization and inventory.
- Assists with planned maintenance schedule and work orders.
- Back-up for filling equipment set-up.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations of the organization, including reporting hazards, incidents, or accidents.
- Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.
Skills Abilities, & Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Experience – 2+ years’ experience maintaining CNC machines.
- The individual must possess good communication skills both verbally and written.
- Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
- The individual must have a good Customer Service oriented perceptiveness.
- Knowledge of: Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical systems, comfortable with 480V 3phase.
- Preferred experience: PLC control systems.
- Must have skilled trade experience in electric, plumbing, carpentry, welding & light equipment operation.

Title: CNC Mill Programmer
Location: Chelsea, Mi
Shift: 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $24-$28/hr. DOE
CNC Mill Programmer Job Responsibilities:
- Print reading: Understanding what needs to be machined and what type of tolerance you must maintain to produce quality details.
- Inspection: Inspecting the details at the beginning before machining to ensure that tolerances have been met and the detail is correct.
- Programming: Using Mastercam software to program multiple details. Making sure you have the correct CAD. Following the standard machining practices taught by company.
- G Code Editing: Editing the G code for an easier program to change offsets and finish details in a timely fashion, finding errors, or troubleshooting.
- Set up: Setting up parts in the machine according to how you program them. Making sure the part is flat, straight, correct side up and with a correct zero set off print or CAD.
- Attention to detail on various tolerances: Constantly checking CAD compared to print to maintain you are keeping correct sizes of details. Measuring and adjusting the program as needed during machining.
- Preventative Maintenance: Performing cleaning process every three months on the machine.
- Using various measuring tools: Indicators, micrometers, dial calipers, bore gauges, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with CNC milling machines is required, EDM experience is helpful.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM systems.
- Journeyman certification preferred.
- Effective communication skills: verbal, phone and written.
- Strong mechanical and shop math aptitude.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Basic PC competency to include MS Word, Excel, and internet.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency repairs of machine and equipment during production.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on machine/equipment.
- Perform work on new machine/equipment.
- Provide support in supplying quality parts for customers.

Maintenance Technician Hiring Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 – 5 years’ manufacturing experience with full range of operations, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine maintenance.
- Knowledge skills and abilities in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical principle, systems, troubleshooting and repair: robotics, PLC and assisted automation, mechanical handling systems, maintenance, and repair.

Title: Process Technician

Job Duties:
- Start-up and maintain molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets.
- Responsible for part quality coming off press.
- Monitor setup operation for new jobs for presses (mold setting – material change – first piece process, auxiliary equipment, all functions are operating correctly, and a PM tag is attached to mold).
- Maintain zone area and assist other zones when requested.
- Maintain the QMS as it pertains to area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Plastics Process Technician experience required.
- Must have flexibility to complete projects assigned.
- Monitor daily schedule for mold and material changes.
- Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Use appropriate safety equipment.
- Attend team meetings as required.
