<p><strong>Nigerian singer, songwriter and entertainer Teniola Apata MON, professionally known as Teni or Teni The Entertainer, has shared her recent health battles while announcing a new project, <em>Tears Of The Sun. </em></strong></p>
<p>In a video posted to her Instagram, Teni announced that she was diagnosed with a throat infection in July of this year while recording her second album.</p>
<p>The singer mentioned that she tried many temporary treatments but was later advised by medical professionals to undergo major surgery or risk permanently losing her voice.</p>
<p>She was hospitalized in September and only mildly recovered her voice in October.</p>
<p>Thankfully, in November, she was able to return to the stage after making a full recovery.</p>
