Salary: £10.52 per hour + Benefits

Hours: part time, weekends only, 2 days a week

No experience necessary, we will provide training!

Who will you be supporting?

Bristol Support Service is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to people with a range of disabilities who require assistance with daily living tasks. This may include personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation to appointments or activities.

About you

  • Looking for part-time hours on a rota basis, covering a combination of weekend support
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with the people we support who have diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Share out values of embracing differences, promoting inclusivity and respect one another

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Accompany the people we support to appointments and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and provide reports as necessary
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the people we support at all times

Training and Development

Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK and has pioneered specialist support for over 220 years.
