We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Automation Tester/SDET to join one of our key clients.
The role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through automated testing. You will work closely with multiple vendors development and other cross-functional teams to create and maintain automated test scripts, execute test cases, and help identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools (eg, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured, ReadyAPI etc.)
- Execute test cases, report defects, and verify fixes to ensure software quality.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Assure vendor development teams testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Monitor and maintain test data sets used for test automation
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in API and UI test automation and test framework development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or other relevant languages.
- Proven experience of test automation of systems integration testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg Jenkins) and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Desirable:
- ISTQB
- CSTE
