Rate: £400pd – £460pd Inside IR35

Location: London office 2/3 days a week and remote working

Contract Duration: 6 months +

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Automation Tester/SDET to join one of our key clients.

The role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through automated testing. You will work closely with multiple vendors development and other cross-functional teams to create and maintain automated test scripts, execute test cases, and help identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools (eg, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, RestAssured, ReadyAPI etc.)
  • Execute test cases, report defects, and verify fixes to ensure software quality.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Assure vendor development teams testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Monitor and maintain test data sets used for test automation

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in API and UI test automation and test framework development
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or other relevant languages.
  • Proven experience of test automation of systems integration testing
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg Jenkins) and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Desirable:

  • ISTQB
  • CSTE
