Social Worker in the Later Life Team<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> St Helens Borough Council has exciting opportunities for a number of Senior Social Worker&sol;Social Worker&sol;ASYE to join the Later Life&comma; Disability&comma; Mental Health&comma; DOLS and Review Team&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> The Team works with Individuals age 67&plus; with Physical and Sensory Disabilities&comma; a Diagnosis of Mental Health problems&comma; Dementia and age-related support needs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Candidates must have experience in undertaking Social Care Assessments&comma; identifying eligible needs and outcomes and the Care Planning Process&period; The identification of carers and completing Joint Carers Assessments are also an essential part of the role&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> Experience of the role of Enquiry Practitioner in Safeguarding Adult cases is vital&comma; as is an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act regarding Best Interest Decisions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> You must possess a relevant Social Work qualification &&num;8211&semi; CQSW&comma; DIPSW&comma; CSS or a Degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> An additional £1&comma;500 &lpar;pro rata&rpar; Recruitment &amp&semi; Retention allowance will be paid for experienced Social Workers SCP 26 &&num;8211&semi;
