<p>Spanish defender <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/sergio-ramos"><strong>Sergio Ramos</strong></a> rolled back the years with a signature header to help <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/monterrey"><strong>Monterrey</strong></a> secure a gritty 1-1 draw against UEFA Champions League runners-up Inter Milan at the <strong>Club World Cup</strong>.</p>
<p>In a high-stakes Group E clash at the Rose Bowl, Ramos stunned Inter in the 25th minute, rising above Francesco Acerbi to nod home his fourth career goal in the tournament, his first outside of Real Madrid colours.</p>
<p>At 39 years and two months, he also became the oldest scorer in Club World Cup history, surpassing records set by Javier Zanetti and Nicolás Otamendi.</p>
<p>Inter responded before halftime with a clinical equalizer from Lautaro Martínez, but despite dominating possession, the Italians couldn’t find a winner.</p>
<p>Martínez thought he had a brace in the 67th minute, only to be denied by the offside flag.</p>
<p>Earlier, Sergio Canales rattled the post for Monterrey, nearly restoring their lead.</p>
<p>Despite River Plate’s win over Urawa Red Diamonds, Monterrey emerged as the group’s early pace-setters, frustrating an Inter side still reeling from last season’s European heartbreak.</p>
