Summary An interior and architecture design studio, specializing in the design of luxury hospitality and residential projects, is seeking an all-rounded senior interior designer. The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate about design, and possess exceptional creative and technical skills.
Job Description:
- Manage and coordinate a small team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
- Work with the team to achieve timely and budgetary delivery of project goals.
- Take the lead, individually or collaboratively, in the creation of technical packs for Tender.
- Develop furniture schedules and FF&E packs to meet project requirements.
- Facilitate communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Attend site meetings as necessary to oversee project progress.
- Provide regular project updates to directors, reporting on milestones and challenges.
- Collaborate with the team to generate concepts, mood boards, and comprehensive presentations.
- Take an active role in presenting concepts to clients, serving as a key point of contact.
- Ensure a positive impact on others through a constructive attitude and approach.
- This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.
Skills Necessary:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing multiple luxury projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe CS.
- Showcase exceptional conceptual and presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of different style periods, and high-end residential and hospitality interior design is preferable.
- Strong understanding of all project stages.
- Someone who is happy to be ‘hands on’ and comfortable in a diverse role and who brings an enthusiastic, ‘can do’ attitude.
- The capability to multi-task with strong use of initiative.
- Confident to deal directly with clients and contractors.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills, demonstrating tenacity in overcoming challenges.
- Must have a degree in Interior Design
