<p><b>About the role:</b></p>
<p> Astute&#8217;s Power team is partnering with a large-scale engineering company within the UK Power Generation space to recruit a Senior Authorised Person on a 6 month contract to work final engineering works on the commissioning phase.</p>
<p><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong background and experience in the O&;M of large combustion plant, boilers, steam turbines and associated balance of plant.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of power industry safety rules (CEGB).</li>
<li>Competent in the use of &#8220;Maximo&#8221; or similar electronic system for the control and creation of isolation certificates and permits to work.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of multidiscipline control of work requirements including process and mechanical isolations.</li>
<li>Detailed understanding of P&;ID&#8217;s and LV/HV electrical drawings to determine suitable isolations required to provide safety from the system.</li>
<li>Practical understanding and application of SRCC documentation.</li>
<li>Implement permit to work requirements to provide safety from the system.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the interface requirements between Construction, Commissioning and Operations.</li>
<li>Preparation and implementation of task specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements.</li>
<li>Compliance with relevant statutory legislation, recognised codes of practice and site operational procedures.</li>
<li>Requirement to complete SAP authorisation training, interview, and validation.</li>
<li>Very important &#8211; not mandatory. Experience in similar projects</li>
