<p> In this exciting role, you will be working with Sobeys Digital team. This involves conducting design and code reviews throughout the System Development Life Cycle to ensure the solution delivered conforms to IT standards and quality software delivery practices.</p>
<p> You can manage the development life cycle for large-scale projects and/or medium to small projects spanning multiple platforms or solutions, consisting of complex conversions, integration and new development. This consists of leading support teams in the development of software solutions and the development of detailed functional, technical and operational specifications. In addition, you can ensure all documentation created is up to date and correct before solutions or changes are implemented.</p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<p> Good communication skills to ensure that department management is informed of progress, status and issues of delivery team activities.</p>
<p> Leadership skills to support teams in the development and support of software solutions</p>
<p> Ability to identify functional and technical solutions to meet client requirements</p>
<p> Skills and Experience Requirements</p>
<ul>
<li>An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience</li>
<li>Solid experience with SDLC methodologies – including agile/sprint processes</li>
<li>Solid experience in performing data migration/conversion design and development</li>
<li>Hands-on software troubleshooting experience</li>
<li>At least 5 years of good knowledge of the following technologies:</li>
<li>Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Rest API, XML, JSON</li>
<li>SQL – SQL Server specific knowledge preferable.</li>
<li>XML related technologies and frameworks</li>
<li>HTTP and related protocols.</li>
<li>JBoss, Wildfly, TomEE (preferred), Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Apache servers</li>
<li>Windows Server, Solaris, HP UX, Linux (any one)</li>
<li>Good knowledge in using Tools like Maven Gradle, git, Jenkins pipeline, JIRA and Junit</li>
<li>Good to have experience in Digital Asset Management with proficiency in following areas:</li>
<li>Functional Knowledge of Digital Asset Management, Asset ingestions, system integrations</li>
<li>Maintenance and housekeeping activities in DAM environment.</li>
<li>Configuration settings on OTMM (Metadata, security, Policy, User, Advanced Search etc.)</li>
<li>Customizations on OTMM and associated application servers.</li>
<li>Operating with MS SQL Server, database maintenance and administration.</li>
</ul>
