Job description: The role:

As Roadside Assistance Network Data Analyst you will provide expertise and strategic guidance to the senior leadership team to ensure our technician and network teams are fully optimized. You will develop short, medium, and long-term strategies to ensure the business meets or exceeds KPI targets. You will manage the technician incentive scheme and provide/produce and enhance all the existing and new Network related reports. You will be responsible for the performance and leadership of the Resource Planning team, ensuring that the quality and standard of service required by the company and our clients is fully realized and is consistently achieved. You will maintain a culture which is driven to deliver customer excellence which is indicative of the expectations of our clients.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, due to the nature of this role hours may vary in-line with the needs of the business. This position is Hybrid working from home/Croydon office

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience plus up to £10,000 performance bonus

You will:

  • Work closely with Allianz Partner (AP) Group colleagues to provide data driven insight, MI and updates on network projects
  • Ensure KPI targets incentivize behaviors to drive business profitability
  • Use large data sets to find opportunities for process and performance optimization, cost reduction opportunities, tariff structures, using the data to evaluate the effectiveness of different courses of action
  • Produce resourcing requirement recommendations for short-, medium- and long-term deployment
  • Mine and analyze data from AP databases to drive optimization, simplification, improving our customer experience and at the same time increase our effectiveness.
  • Leverage internal tools (e.g. BIP modelling) to create business scenarios and produce monthly forecast of technician jobs per day
  • Ensure that the planning and agreement is in-line with budget and activity forecast
  • Own, update and enhance technician profitability analysis
  • Implement regular reporting on defined data points, including external costs, to monitor the impact of fuel prices on Network Tariffs.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of reports, statistical information, and projects
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as required
  • Achieve and maintain a clear focus on the continuous development and support of your team
  • Ensure PDPs are in place and reviewed at monthly one-to-one meetings
  • Hold team meetings and conduct investigations, disciplinary hearings when appropriate.

About you:

  • Educated to degree level in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent
  • Proven working experience of working with large sets of data
  • Ability to drive business related recommendations and suggestions based on data
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstratable ability to coach team to achieve performance improvement
  • Management experience within a similar environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach team members to achieve performance improvement
  • Proven achievement of objectives and cost control
  • Experience in the ‘Assistance’ field is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Positive influencer
  • Proactive, quick thinking, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
