The vacant position is within the Consumer division of Nilfisk, who services consumers through off- and on-line channels predominantly in Europe. The main product lines are high-pressure washers and vacuum cleaners.
About your new team:
The consumer marketing function is based as a central function at Head Quarters in Denmark where the global strategies and campaigns are developed. This is combined with regional marketing hubs which manage the local execution of these strategies and campaigns. Reporting to the Global Head of Consumer Marketing your primary tasks will be to execute the overall global marketing plan in your region and to plan local marketing activities to support sales of our products both online and in stores. Besides this your role will be responsible for the global continuous development of our packaging in all product categories.
The position is based in Spain (Madrid or Mataró near Barcelona), or a 100% remote position based in either Spain or UK. You should expect a maximum of 10 days of travel per year.
You’ll be focusing on the following:
Coordinate campaigns with local sales managers and local chains and report on results.
Coordinate chain fairs/events and produce specific chain related marketing material.
Updating of the local website/webshop of the regional hub.
Coordinate translations of marketing materials for the hub.
Coordinate with external suppliers such as printers and marketing agencies.
Produce local promotional materials for instore activation for the hub.
Monitor competitors.
Support non-consumer markets with marketing materials and information.
Coordinate and develop global packaging in conjunction with agencies including proofreading.
We are searching you, if you have:
We are looking for an outgoing person with a relevant academic background in communications and marketing. You should have at least 3 years of experience and be ready to solve a variety of marketing related tasks. You should be self-driven and work well in a matrix organization with many stakeholders. You will need to speak fluent English or Spanish but preferably be able to speak both languages at a business level. Furthermore, we are looking for a person who has:
Proven experience in consumer marketing, ideally within the consumer goods industry.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
An analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
A passion for consumer engagement and is a creative and innovative thinker
