JOB OVERVIEW

As a Recruitment specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs. You will work closely with hiring managers and understand their requirements, and execute recruitment strategies to identify and engage top-tier talent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to determine their fit for specific roles.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings to extending offers and onboarding.
  • Maintain candidate databases and utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, certification in HR or Recruitment is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role (5 years) in talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment methods and best practices, including sourcing techniques candidate assessment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian labor legislation and recruitment compliance is advantageous.
