Toni Kroos is considering whether to extend his contract with Real Madrid, or retire from football after the upcoming European Championship.

The return of the 34-year-old midfielder to the international stage with Germany for the first time in three years, has raised speculations about his future in the game.

His performances have left Real Madrid eager to retain him for another season, and according to Fabrizio Romano, there is growing confidence within the club that Kroos will agree to a contract renewal.

“Real Madrid remain optimistic and confident, they are waiting for Kroos to make a final decision, but they believe there is a good chance to keep him at the club,” Romano stated.
