supportive of the organisation’s overall goals and strategies for the region&period; Project responsibilities have the following dimensions&colon; Develop donor concept papers&comma; proposals&comma; reports&comma; and correspondence&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Serve as representative to promote thematic focus areas in gender-related matters&comma; women inclusion&comma; women empowerment&comma; Accountability&comma; Capacity Building&comma; and Development Projects in Nigeria and the region&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Analyze&comma; research&comma; and develop familiarity with thematic issues in the political and economic landscape of the portfolio country&comma; identifying opportunities for programming and partners&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Identify potential partner organizations and beneficiaries in the country and collaborate to design effective democratic and economic-reform programs&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Implement&comma; monitor and manage all project activities&comma; in collaboration with local partner organizations and team members&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Maintain correspondence and operational records regarding organisation funded programs in the assigned portfolio&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Monitor grantee performance to ensure full compliance with objectives&comma; financial and reporting requirements&comma; and evaluation plans&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Evaluate projects through on-site visits&comma; file reviews&comma; and coordination with independent evaluators where appropriate&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Develop project reports&comma; International Relations&comma; Law&comma; International Business&comma; Economic Development&comma; Development economics Political Science&comma; Public Policy&comma; or a related discipline&period; Added advantage to candidates with a master’s degree&comma; or the equivalent experience in the above-listed fields&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>A minimum of seven &lpar;7&rpar; years of professional experience in project management&comma; proposal development&comma; and implementation&comma; preferably in an International non-governmental organization &lpar;NGO&rpar; or with business advocacy or association management&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Expertise in Agender-related matters&comma; women inclusion&comma; women empowerment&comma; Accountability&comma; Capacity Building&comma; and Development Projects&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Experience with international development and topics consistent with organisation’s mission&comma; gender-related matters&comma; women inclusion&comma; women empowerment&comma; Accountability&comma; Capacity Building&comma; and Development Projects&period; Prior experience with Donor &lpar;US or European&rpar; run programs is preferred&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Demonstrated ability to develop&comma; establish&comma; and maintain good relationships with international partners&comma; donors&comma; and colleagues&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Strong financial acumen and ability to develop&comma; manage&comma; and monitor project budgets&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Excellent English writing&comma; communication&comma; analytical&comma; and presentations skills<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Excellent organizational&comma;
