Job Position: Procurement Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Provide operational support and advice to management and staff in relation to procurement, contracting and contactor management.
- Manage contract assigned to the position to ensure compliance with specifications and service delivery standards
- Develop and maintain organizational procurement capacity by providing training and support to staff with regards to procurement processes.
- Managing the record keeping requirements of the tender and contracting processes.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Facilitate and coordinate best practice tendering and contracting activities. Including:
- Reviewing draft tender documents for compliance with standards
- Coordinating tender evaluation processes
- Preparing contract documents for signature
- Arranging the signing of contract documents.
- Keep records of equipment serial number on delivery by the clearing agent.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, available stocks, delivery information and invoices
- Inventory management of stocks/products available
- Prepare Monthly reports on purchases and available stocks.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Purchasing and Supply or relevant field.
- Professional qualification in relevant course is preferred.
- Familiarity with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Negotiation skills
- Time management Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create Inventory reports and conduct cost analyses
