Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize ingredients for cooking, ensuring they are of the highest quality.
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized prep station, following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during busy hours.
- Support overall kitchen operations, including stocking and restocking ingredients as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to perform essential functions and demonstrate competencies to company standards with reasonable accommodation.
- Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays
- Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day; able to climb flights of stairs
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- High energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment
